Do you want to make a difference?
What is Mission & Action?
Mission & Action is a church committee that enables you to help others in need, whether it be a single mother from Exeter who receives food from our Pantry, an elderly person who needs a roof fixed, or a homeless family. M&A also encourages Environmental Justice, through support of local farmers, Fair-Trade food and products, and re-learning to be kind to Mother Earth herself.
What makes our Mission & Action distinctive?
Our team contributes their time, talents, and resources to help local non-profits that make a difference right here in town. We also help to raise awareness of issues of social justice and sustainability through out the world, because we understand the inter-connectedness of the web of life. What we do here in Exeter has a ripple effect that spreads wide….
How will I benefit from involvement with Mission & Action?
When you partner with us, you join a compassionate and dynamic team who is making a positive impact on others. On our team you will:
- Engage in proactive efforts in a team setting of like-minded folks.
- Educate yourself about current Social Justice and Sustainability issues.
- Exercise your creativity by finding different ways of looking at problems and their solutions.
- Enlighten us about what you are passionate about, and who knows – it may lead to a project!
- Enjoy cultivating compassion via hands-on doing through our Jacob’s Ladder home-repair group.
- Experience humility, and receive glimpses of Grace.
Challenge yourself, and donate your time and talents to some great causes!
